本作品汲取日本枯山水（Karesansui）的禪意美學，以極簡的視覺語言描繪時間、自然與匠心之間的對話。畫面中的砂紋並非自然生成，而是經由一次次反覆耙梳、細緻雕琢所形成；每一道紋理，都蘊含職人對秩序、美感與細節的堅持。
枯山水並非直接描繪山川河流，而是透過砂紋、石塊與留白，引導觀者在有限之中感受無限，在靜止之中體會時間的流動。這種「以少見多」的東方哲學，也映照真正的工藝精神——不是追求表面的繁複，而是在每一道工序中不斷修正、精進與淬鍊，直至成就歷久彌新的品質。
這份精神亦與茶藝相通。從選水、候湯、置茶、注水到奉茶，每一個動作看似簡約，實則來自長時間的練習與對當下的專注。茶席所重視的，不只是技法，更是「一期一會」的心意：每一次相遇、每一席茶、每一位來客，都只存在於當下，無法複製，也不會重來。正因如此，職人更以敬意對待每一個細節，使短暫的一刻成為值得珍藏的記憶。
作品中的層層紋理，隱含木作工藝、手工雕琢與茶席行止所形成的節奏，如同職人反覆打磨器物、整理庭院、溫壺候茶，將平凡的材料與日常動作轉化為具有精神性的創作。每一道耙紋都不是偶然，而是耐心、經驗與時間共同留下的印記；真正的價值，往往誕生於那些最容易被忽略的細節之中。
畫面中央靜置的岩石象徵初心與本質。無論時代如何變遷，真正能夠歷久彌新的，不是形式，而是始終如一的匠心。每一件經典作品、每一項精湛工藝、每一次真誠的奉茶，皆來自日復一日的累積，而非一蹴可幾的完成。

Inspired by the contemplative aesthetics of the Japanese Karesansui (dry landscape garden), this work explores the dialogue between time, nature, and craftsmanship through a language of refined simplicity. The flowing patterns in the raked sand are not accidental traces of nature, but the result of deliberate, repeated gestures. Every line reflects a craftsman's unwavering pursuit of order, beauty, and precision.
Rather than depicting mountains and rivers literally, the dry landscape garden evokes the vastness of nature through carefully composed gravel, stone, and empty space. Within what appears minimal lies an infinite landscape for contemplation. This philosophy of "expressing the infinite through the essential" mirrors the true spirit of craftsmanship—not the pursuit of complexity, but the continual refinement of every detail until timeless quality emerges.
This philosophy is equally embodied in the Japanese tea ceremony. From selecting the water and preparing the tea to each measured movement of serving, every gesture is simple in appearance yet rooted in years of discipline and mindful practice. At the heart of the tea ceremony is the principle of Ichigo Ichie—"one time, one meeting"—the understanding that every encounter is unique and can never be repeated. It is this awareness that inspires artisans to devote themselves wholeheartedly to every moment, transforming an ordinary encounter into an unforgettable experience.
The layered textures within the composition subtly evoke woodworking, handcraftsmanship, and the quiet rhythm of preparing tea. Like a craftsman patiently refining a piece of wood, tending a Zen garden, or performing a tea ceremony, each carefully drawn line becomes a testament to patience, experience, and the passage of time.
